These Terms of Service govern all work carried out by Strange Space Studios T/AS AudioLabs (ABN 97 880 590 017), of 27 Lithgow Avenue, Warburton, VIC 3799 (“AudioLabs”, “we”, “us”).

Services

Every project is governed by an individual project agreement or quote provided at the time of booking, which sets out the scope, pricing, and timeline for that project. These Terms apply alongside that agreement.

Refund Policy

If you're genuinely unsatisfied with completed work, we'll first offer revisions to address your concerns. If the issue remains unresolved after revisions, we offer a full refund guarantee, processed within 5 business days. Refunds cover AudioLabs' service fees only — they don't extend to third-party costs incurred on your behalf. Refund requests must be made before the work is commercially released. If a project is cancelled while still in progress, you'll be refunded for the uncompleted portion of the work.

Cancellation Policy

You can cancel a project at any time — there's no lock-in contract and no cancellation or kill fee beyond payment for work already completed. AudioLabs may also cancel a project; in that case we'll either complete the paid work or refund the incomplete portion.

Usage Rights & Ownership

You retain 100% ownership and copyright of your music. AudioLabs retains the right to use completed work in its portfolio and marketing materials, and we ask for credit on releases where possible. Our fee is a full buyout of our contribution to the work unless royalty terms are agreed separately in writing.

Client Responsibilities

To deliver the best result, you're responsible for providing properly labelled multitrack files, quality source recordings, reference tracks, and clear edit notes. AudioLabs is not responsible for issues arising from poor-quality or incomplete source material.

AudioLabs Responsibilities

We commit to professional service using industry-standard tools, work that reflects your artistic direction, clear communication throughout the project, and secure, confidential handling of any unreleased material. Final files are delivered upon receipt of full payment.
